Venetian

Miles Phillips / Venetian

Venetian (2020) by Miles Phillips, a Canadian artist who is based in Amsterdam.

One of his recent series, Blurred Dots, is the artist's expression of SYNAESTHESIA, a neurological condition in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic experience in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.

Venetian is his expression of his trip to Venice, Italy

Through this painting, you can experience the blazing sun and passionate warmth of Venice at your house, also with the colours of the sensation it brings about.

Miles believes that the painting that he makes can construct stories based on shared feelings.

Size: 80 cm X 60 cm
Period: 2020
