Oriana Armand, Venezuelan artist who manages to leave her country in the most critical moments of the Venezuelan dictatorship. After long trips and sleepless nights, she meets her family and settles down as a student in Miami Florida, where she focuses her art by expressing the mixed feelings of the Women behind the dreams. Women who by the difficulties of authoritarian regimes, manage to impose resilience, while still transmitting the dark and illusory episode that frames them forever.
Some people define her work as an abstract figurative expressionism; because through the stains of color, strokes, lines and faces she shares the pain, confusion and denial, that gives freedom to the viewer to go into the piece and feel what they observe.
