Sfera

Tom Porta / Sfera

There emerges a transfiguration and a decomposition of nature within an almost informal vision through fluid brushstrokes, fast, hinted and partly material, without any preparatory drawing».

Views, naturalistic atmospheres, spaesanti forests that succeed in restoring, from the apparent immobilism of the first glance, the idea of movement and a compositional structure calibrated at a second glance.

There is no casual observer and the distraction is literally pulverized by the power of the pictorial trait, by the choice of subjects, the shots, the colors as vital breaths.

You can see his deep gaze and the eye of a painter and photographer that leads him to represent with essential traits everything that is visible and not.

Size: 100 cm X 150 cm

Tom Porta was born in 1966 in Milan, where he lives and works.

Since his childhood he has shown a strong attitude towards drawing and the arts in general.

He graduated as "Master of Art" and began a successful career in illustration and photography.

Tom has lived in Italy, Germany, France, Japan and the United States and, since the beginning of his career, he has chosen to merge his life experiences in his own painting.
