Neglected #8

Andrea Savazzi / Neglected #8

For his works he takes inspiration from the pixelated images of the contemporary digital era that have now invaded our daily lives trying to induce the observer to ask questions about the society in which he lives, with a fluid painting that seems to dissolve the images.

The nebulosity of the forms allows the observer to recompose himself the complete image: a focus open to imagination and closed to censorship.

The slow drying of oil paints allows the artist’s thick and precise brushstrokes to manifest themselves in an overlap of different chromatic ranges that make the most of the intensity of the reflection of light.

From the industrial world of Savazzi the intimate essence of human life shines through: space evoking feelings where light becomes the junction point between past and present, contentment and disappointment, reality and appearance.
In his canvases one breathes the grace of the truth, of the past and of the lived.
