Emanuel Zoncato was born in Vicenza on March 16th 1975. After compulsory schooling, he enrolled in the "A. Martini "of Vicenza, where he learns the first artistic techniques. Fascinated by Alberto Burri's informal, he soon discovered love for matter. After graduating in 1994, he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, attending at first the painting course; then he starts a more satisfying course of sculpture at the Academy itself, learning about artistic three-dimensionality by graduating in 1998. From 2002 to 2010 he was part of the "Terre Venete" cultural association which promotes and organizes artistic and cultural events. For more than fifteen years he has worked as a sculptor at the firm "Bruno Peotta e Geom. Luigi ”, an ancient and prestigious sculpture workshop founded in 1903, which still realizes the Vicenza stone works in a traditional way. From 2016 to 2017 his works were exhibited at the Alessandro Ghiotto Art Gallery in Piazza delle Erbe in Vicenza. In 2019 he starts a collaboration with Context Gallery.
