Prominent Latvian textile artist Egils Rozenbergs graduated from the Department of Textile Art of the Art Academy of Latvia in 1971 and has taken part in exhibitions in Latvia and abroad from 1969. His works can be found in the Latvian National Museum of Art, Cleveland Museum of Art (USA), the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, the collections of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and Artists’ Union of Russia (Moscow), ING Bank (Venezuela), the Danish Royal family (Copenhagen) as well as in the Latvian Embassy in London, the Latvian Representation to the UN (New York) and other public institutions. Private collections in the U.S.A, Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Germany, France, Denmark, etc.

2002 - The Order of Three Stars, Latvia;

2000 - Ordre National de la Legion d'Honneur, Republice Francaise;

1997 - Den Kongelige Norske Fortjenstorden ( The Royal Norwegian Order of Merit).
