Angelo Maisto was born in Naples (1977), graduated at Liceo Artistico and Accademia di Belle Arti of Naples. Maisto is an elegant artist that expresses his art mostly through watercolor and sculpture.

Since many years he has been creating what the art critic Valerio Dehò named CODEX MAISTI. A universal work, a creation of a new natural history and a new order born from bounding different elements coming from high and low culture, things and objects, art history and bricolage. The artist had personal and collective shows such as : Museum of Città di Rimini for Drawing Biennale, Vapor Factory of Milano for Milano Sculpture, Art Fair Cologne , Set Up Art Fair at Bologna, Galleria di Arte Contemporanea 59 Rivoli at Paris, and the show at the 18th century palace Mezzacapo at Maiori in July 2017 curated by well known art critic Valerio Dehò.
